In the heart of this destination is the fascinating town of Playa del Carmen.

Once a small fishing community and an entry point to the mainland from the island, Playa del Carmen now features an inviting ambiance for visitors with its famous 5th Avenue, a pedestrian walkway extending for 1 mile featuring shops of all types, cozy bars and varied restaurants.
